Weigh In: Horus Heresy 2.0 Rumours

  [Credit: The Paint Crusader] As I'm sure many of you in the loop will know by now, there have been several rumours flying round regarding the release of what's been dubbed 'Heresy 2.0'. In this article I'll take a look at the rumours themselves, my opinion on them, and how they could affect the Heresy. The Rumours There are two main 'sources' for these. The first comes from Anuj Malhotra, a former Forgeworld employee who appears to have worked on the Horus Heresy. When he left, he announced: "I love the passion guys. It has been a difficult year due to Covid and Brexit. Great things are coming, hang in there!" This is a fairly enigmatic message, though we could expect that the 'great things' are probably to do with the Heresy, and so the suggestion from those inside is that a big project is in the works. Duke of Edinburgh Progress Report: The Many Shades of Traitors

  [Credit: The Paint Crusader] My paints arrived Tuesday, so I got straight to it painting up some old Tartaros terminators I had from about a year ago. I’d painted them pretty poorly the first time, so they needed some fresh paint anyways. In the end, I did 3 out of a squad of 5 before I felt I had a nice scheme. The other 2 may get painted up just to refine what I’ve currently got. So without further ado, lets take a look at my efforts: Tartaros Test Terminators 1, 2, and 3 [Credit: The Paint Crusader] As you can see, there’s been a fair amount of change in design from Terminator 1 to Terminator 3, based on my personal preference of how I wanted my Sons of Horus to look. Duke of Edinburgh Progress Report: What is the Duke of Edinburgh Award?

[Credit: The Paint Crusader] Hello all, this is an reupload of something I wrote a while ago that seems to have been lost in the warp! It’s a short one talking about what exactly DofE is and what I’m planning to do. What is The Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE)? The Duke of Edinburgh Award is a scheme created by the late Prince Phillip to encourage young people to take up new skills and hobbies. There are three categories to complete: volunteering, physical and skills, and there is also an overnight expedition. You have to do an hour a week of each of the categories, for either three or six months. In my case, this means that I'm going to be completing at least one hour of Warhammer hobby time each week, for the next six months. I've got to log all my progress, and submit it to be assessed at the end of the six months.
